Forest honey

This forest honey, usually harvested during August and early September, combines honeydew with nectar from heather flowers.

Processed manually using traditional techniques, we help bees collect this natural honey in the Sierra de la Demanda mountains in Burgos.

With a very distinctive dark brown colour, this honeydew honey stands out for its intense flavour, reminiscent of spices and resins. Its aroma of toasted cereal and its density make this honey a delight for the palate. However, thanks to this density, pure forest honey takes much longer to solidify than other types of honey.
